Egan Healthcare Raising Money for Safe Harbor Christmas Fund

Egan Healthcare to Launch Fundraising Drive for Abused Women, Children

Egan Healthcare Services will be collecting monetary donations, in lieu of a gift exchange, at the company’s Christmas/Holiday party on December 15, 2011. The money will be used to purchase six gift certificates for the residents of the Safe Harbor shelter and advocacy organization for victims of abuse.

Egan Healthcare Helping Raise Money for Safe HarborSafe Harbor is a shelter for abused women and their children. The gift certificates will be given to Safe Harbor wrapped as Christmas gifts to be presented to the six Women residing at the Safe Harbor shelter on Christmas. The women will be able to use the gift certificates to purchase clothing or other items needed to set up and furnish their new homes.

Non-employees may also donate to the fund via PayPal by using the “donate” button located at the bottom of this page.

Ann Winstead, the program Director at Safe Harbor, has suggested the money be used to purchase gift certificated from Target or Walmart, given the cost-effectiveness of both major retailers coupled with the fact that both stores offer just about every product under the sun.

In addition to the gift certificates, the women will also be receiving a gift from Egan Medical, Egan Healthcare’s retail medical equipment division. Specifically, the ladies will each be receiving a bottle of Egan Wellness Clinic brand vitamin D3 supplements, personally formulated by world-renowned nutrition guru Pamela B. Egan.

Donations are voluntary and any amount will be accepted. Gifts for the children are already being provided by other organizations.

Egan Healthcare Services would like to thank Nancy O’Donley for suggesting the project. Egan would also like to thank all who donate for their generosity and selfless willingness to help others who are in need.

Non-Employees may donate to the Safe Harbor Christmas Fund by clicking on the button below.  100% of all money donated by both employees and non-employees will be given to the Safe Harbor organization for the above-stated purposes. The amount of your donation is entirely up to you. A $1 dollar donation is better than no donation at all, and every penny counts.
